The pacing of this piece is really effective -- my only suggestion would be to get rid of the capitalization at the beginning of lines so that it feels less like properly starting new thoughts each time, if that makes sense? I'd also love to see the like "you sure showed them" pop more -- maybe changing it to first person and italicizing? My two cents: take them or leave them!
