Fingers must learn rules

If you write it screaming
you can't take it back. Retype
it, calm and reasonable.

Choose your brackets wisely
to maintain the order of operations.

Control and command do nothing
alone. Another stroke calls the action.

Unless it is all frozen,
escape may save you in a corner.

You have the power to shift, to be less
than a comma, more than a period.

The zero is twice
as large as any number.

There are four directions.
Choose wisely.

  1. I really like this, but found myself faltering over your "Retype
    it," a couple of times.

I like the idea of bringing in an order of operations. I wondered at why you might not also include "force quit" as an option. Because while escape is one out- force quit another, and more final when faced with the spinning wheel of death (stagnation).

    This is all really clever.

Maybe "another stroke completes" rather than calls the action?

Now I have written a very disjointed response, but rest assured that this is an excellent thing to have read on a Monday (when I am crashing Excel a lot on my Mac).
